M residence, initially built in 1800 and located in the centre of Waregem, did fuction for several years as horse stables. A complete renovation was performed in 2020, in collaboration with architect Pascal Bilquin, to turn it into a home.

The house was renovated adding a modern part that had to be in complete contrast with the ‘old’ façade, as it’s listed as protected monument.

We opted for large steel windows and as less doors as possible. The floor is covered with stuc deco in every room, which gives an impression that every room flows into the other.

By selecting warm materials mixed with design furniture and vintage objects, a cosy family home came to a result.
