Michèle Mahieu grew up in an entrepreneurial West-Flanders family that has been active in the textile industry since 1889, specializing in interior fabrics. It is there where she learned the love for warm fabrics, textiles & colours and grew a profound fascination for interior designs.

After having graduated her Master’s Degree of Interior Architecture at the acclaimed Henry Van de Velde Institute in Antwerp, she attended an International Business Management program at ESMOD Paris.

Following completion of her studies, she gained experience at several luxury fashion brands working and living in Paris, which stimulated her creativity and love for the use of different materials.

Growing into her creative identity she worked with several interior architects and has since led several projects under her own name. Her goal is to create timeless interiors using soft natural materials and a bold colour palette that is as functional as it pleases the eye.
